In 2021 our client purchased this home in Mount Kisco NY and while it was beautiful, they had some upgrades and design changes that they wanted us to assist with. When we received their call, they were assigned their own Design Consultant who came to the home to discuss the project. After hearing their ideas our Design Consultant went to work creating mockups, material lists, and a full estimate that included a time frame as well as all the needed paperwork to file for permits which we do for our clients on every project.
While it was not a complete home remodel, it did entail some of the most integral parts of the home. After gutting the kitchen we installed Adelphi Cabinets. Adelphi is one of the most reputable and quality forward companies in the United States. They were established in 1946 and are located in Pennsylvania. The produce cabinets the old fashioned way, one cabinet at a time. We chose a white maple cabinet set for them and covered the countertops in Quartzite. Quartzite countertops are produced using natural, porous stone that is cut to exact dimensions. Quartz countertops are engineered stone that is molded into custom shapes. Quality examples contain more than 90% loose quartz, with the remaining 7% being resins and other materials. The backsplash is done in a beautiful herringbone pattern white tile with some wood floating shelves to create a nice juxtaposition of contrasting materials. The flooring is oak plank to really give it a nice finish.
The updated master bathroom feature a freestanding tub, shower, separate water closet. Materials include Adelphi Vanity (stained) with marble counter top, black Kohler plumbing fixtures and a soaking tub. It really is a beautiful room.
We updated their old fireplace with a contemporary marble finish and a wood candle to provide some contrast. The font doors were removed and we replaced them with a contemporary double doors.
