During these challenging times of the Coronavirus, Remodeling Consultants, Inc. want our customers to rest assured that our entire team has your health and safety in mind.
One of the most common compliments we get is how professional and respectful our crew is. So, in addition to our impeccable manners and high quality, all of our team are following the state and local safety steps, including those from Westchester County, Fairfield County, as well as Connecticut.
Even before the recent pandemic, keeping your home and property safe and clean during construction was our top priority. As you’re probably aware, during any home renovation, or addition, there can be dust and debris. You’ll be glad to know our professional crew works diligently to keep everything as neat and clean as possible. At the end of each day, we pick up and put things away. Plus, at the completion of the job, we make sure there’s nothing out of place, any debris is removed, and the area is as dust-free as possible. Read on to see the additional steps we take to keep your environment safe and sanitary.
#1 Sanitation
One of the most important things we do is have all personnel equipped with hand sanitizers and hand cleaners to keep their hands clean and germ-free. Everyone is also equipped with sanitary wipes so they can use them on hard surfaces like:
- Countertops
- Light switches
- Doorknobs
- Gate latches
#2 Doors Sealed
When we’re working on the interior of your home, we make sure that we seal all doors and hallways. That way we can keep any dust or paint fumes out of the rest of your home. Likewise, if we’re working outside, we make sure that there aren’t any open doors or windows that debris can enter your house. And during this unusual time of the pandemic, having the rest of your home sealed-off from our working area adds an extra layer of protection for you and your family.
#3 Exterior Entry
Whenever possible, we try and use secondary entry points into your home while working. For example, if we’re doing a kitchen remodel many times, we can enter through the garage, or sometimes a sliding glass door.
When that isn’t possible, we can still attempt to create an alternative opening. If we’re remodeling the main floor and putting in new windows, we can remove an old window and install a temporary door. By doing this, you can still maintain your privacy during construction.
#4 Portable Toilets
All of our project sites will have a Porto San portable toilet in place for use by our RCI crew and associated trades during the entire time of your project. Before starting your project, one of our friendly staff will contact you to set up the delivery, removal, and billing for these units. It is our goal to make you and your family feel 100% safe and comfortable at all times, especially during COVID-19. We appreciate your business and want you to know that we will social distance whenever possible, to maintain a safe working environment for your family and our personnel.
