There are at time anomalies in reviews that can be spotted. If the questionable testimonial comes from a person who does not have any other reviews, or ion their profile seems incomplete or suspect, it usually means that they are not a trustworthy resource and perhaps should be disregarded.
A picture is always worth a thousand words. A remodelers Web site should contain photos and some background on projects. They are often times on social media outlets such as Facebook and Instagram where photos, videos, and comments can be reviewed. You may find some remodelers excel in particular styles that align with your taste.
Licenses and Insurance:

In order to obtain a license you must be insured, but if you feel unsure, you should absolutely call and ask for proof of insurance before starting your project.
